What happens to my chat with Bill the AI agent on the homepage?

It's deleted when it ends, apart from an audit copy of your messages and Bill's answers, which we keep and only use if we need it for an audit or a legal reason. Pressing Clear chat ends it straight away. If you check an address, we don't keep the postcode or address after the chat ends, unless you type them into a message, which puts them in the audit copy. A postcode can also appear for a while in the standard request logs our services keep for security and to fix faults. Nothing from your chat is used to train AI, and what you type is never used for advertising. Bill doesn't need your health, money or other sensitive details, or anything about other people, so please don't share them. Our Privacy notice has the detail, including how long the audit copy is kept.
